- Sufficient and healthy grafts in the donor area (typically the back of the head)
- Noticeable thinning or recession in the frontal hairline

Before the procedure; we assess the degree of frontal hair loss, estimate the number of grafts needed and check for healthy donor follicles.
If the recipient area is suitable and blood tests come back normal, the procedure is safely scheduled.

Transfer
Once your appointment is confirmed; all airport-hotel-clinic transfers are arranged in VIP vehicles, you will stay in a 5-star hotel with sea view and breakfast included, and your personal patient coordinator is available 24/7 for assistance.

In the first stage of planning; our specialists evaluate your donor area and area of hair loss and once confirmed, your coordinator shares all necessary pre-op information.

These steps improve graft survival and overall results; avoid alcohol for at least one week before the procedure, reduce smoking to support healing, and eat a light breakfast on the day of surgery (fasting is not required).
Follicles are then carefully placed into the prepared area to ensure maximum density and natural appearance. On surgery day; the donor area is partially shaved and prepared, hair follicles are extracted one by one using the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method, and based on your hair type and area of thinning, your doctor selects the most suitable implantation technique.

This is the most critical step in female hair transplantation.
Your previous photos are reviewed, and the design is based on your donor capacity and facial structure.
Our objective is to deliver a realistic and aesthetically appropriate hairline while protecting the donor area.

Extraction (FUE)
FUE involves extracting follicles with the surrounding tissue intact, without damaging the skin.
This technique requires highly skilled professionals and advanced micromotors, ensuring precision and safety.

Opening
As important as graft extraction and hairline design, channel opening determines how natural the final result looks.
Hair grows at specific angles. Our expert team creates micro-channels that replicate these angles for natural, dense, and flowing results.
The first night is a sensitive stage in the healing process.
Donor and recipient areas are still healing, and the presence of anesthesia fluids increases the risk of graft displacement if pressure is applied.
Avoid sleeping face-down
Sleep on your back in a semi-upright position to reduce swelling and protect grafts
Use a travel pillow for support
Hair of Istanbul’s team provides full guidance and 24/7 support to ensure a safe and comfortable first night.

Healing begins immediately after FUE; minor redness, swelling, and scabbing are normal and fade within days, no hair washing for the first 3 days, gentle washing between days 4–10, and avoid sun exposure, sea, and sports for the first month.

To support healthy and fast hair growth, Hair of Istanbul works with Kerastase. A personalized care set is provided before discharge, with full usage instructions explained by your coordinator.

New hair growth begins in 6–8 months, with final results achieved by 8–10 months. Our expert team stays in touch during the entire process, offering guidance and updates to ensure 100% satisfaction.
